Rewards, scoring & today’s six cards
Earn 100 tokens for a correct finish within the card’s target time, or 50 tokens for finishing over time. Both finishes earn one Treasure Key. Paid Help does not reduce that reward. One bonus and one Treasure Key per day. Five keys open your Quest Chest.
Your timer counts up beside the card’s Time to beat. A brief notice and chime mark the target; you can keep solving. The chime follows your Sound Effects setting. Your Daily Score starts at 8,000 and adds up to 2,000 for an early finish. Paid answer Help adjusts the base by 50 points per token spent, capped at 4,000 points. Half of the Help-adjusted base is protected for finishing. The other half earns pace points, reduced by 10 per overtime second until those pace points reach zero. Every verified finish earns at least 2,000 points, or at least 4,000 with no paid Help. Free clues and the daily free Letter Lift have no deduction. After your daily finish, spin again for free practice. Practice rounds earn no extra daily bonus.
Two Easy, two Medium and two Hard cards refresh at 12:00 am Toronto time. All six have equal odds on a new spin. An unfinished round resumes the same card and letters. A saved round remains available for 36 hours.

How do I play a crossword?
Choose Easy, Medium or Hard, then select a puzzle. Tap a white square, read the Across or Down clue and enter your answer. Check word checks the selected answer; Help offers a nudge when you need one.
How does the Daily Challenge work?
Each day the Home wheel offers six free crossword cards: two Easy, two Medium and two Hard. Spin for your daily reward round, solve against its Time to Beat, then use later spins for free practice.
How do I challenge my friends?
After completing a puzzle, choose Challenge Friends on the Victory Board. Share the Rally link so friends can play the same crossword and try to beat your score.
